I love the fact that supermarkets cater for all needs, including the shopper who is in a rush and only has a few items to buy…for cash.
So, you can imagine my frustration when this evening a blonde lady, obviously on her way home from her very important job, decided to not only barge in front of someone with just one item, but then proceeded to unpack her wheelie basket of items in the express “10 items or less” queue.
I had the misfortune to be behind her with my 4 items, and I had enough time to count her 17 items being unloaded onto the checkout.
The blonde lady then proceeded to ignore the check out lady who told her she had too many items.
It was at this point I got angry so I asked her if she could read? Did she not see the signs EVERYWHERE on the till?? Why did she think this rule did not apply to her – obviously she is TOO DAMN IMPORTANT!!
I ended up at an empty till in the end and was finished before her…she was fishing out her credit card to pay.
Shame on you!!
