Unemployment’s pretty high at the moment, I’d know.
So why do various companies; and I’m talking schools, food outlets in malls, publishing companies, banks etc. who are NOT short of money AT ALL, feel the need to give one person ten jobs?
I get it, things after the recession have been tight, they’ve been a struggle, but when all the ‘big bosses’ are driving fancy cars and wearing designer clothes, yet one person is handling 6 or 7 various jobs for other brands within a company, it’s not on!
Stop being cheap and start hiring, if someone needs to be juggling several jobs and staying ’til 10pm and coming in on weekends, then there’s obviously a need for another employee.
I’m just an onlooker, but I can see how much these people are struggling. It’s not fair! Well done for cutting costs, but there has to be a line! Stop trying to get people to do it for free and give some people jobs!
