There are so many things that are yet to get the recycling symbol on. ‘Not currently recycled’. But one thing that really gets me is that we are still not yet to find a way to recycle crisp packets. I mean how? The major companies, who let’s face it make profit enough to invest some into research, still do not recycle the everyday crisp packet. I have four kids, each kid has a packed lunch and has some form of crisp delight included, so I alone created 20 packets of waste a week, that’s 100+ packets a month.
I am an avid recycler. My kids are even scared to put things in the wrong type of bin! But I’m also a mum of 4, and I don’t genuinely have time to store these and take them to an individual recycling place, however good my intentions. I am sure I am not alone here. So please, please can pressure be put on all these types of company to make their packets recycleable?! Anyone else??
