I have nothing against cyclists, I’m not a fan myself but I understand it must be a great way to stay in shape etc, but why do they think it’s ok to ride side by side?? They become the equivalent of a Mini doing 20 miles an hour at most that you can’t overtake, especially on country roads with bends. So there you are, totally stuck doing 20 miles an hour because two cyclists want to chat about their latest padded bottom cycling shorts or the best tyre pump they’ve discovered. Its not on and its the cause of a great deal of road rage from those caught behind them. Yet they seem oblivious!
I am one of those drivers too scared to overtake them incase they wobble and fall in front of me, but there are so many drivers that do take the risk to overtake at the peril of the cyclists, themselves and other oncoming cars. Are there any cyclist rules? Do they have to take a test of sorts to cycle like this. Honestly, they’re a menace!
Thanks for the vent.
