How are people so shocked that we are getting outbreaks of measles again when people are slowing down again and becoming complacent on getting their children vaccinated?
Is it in the hope that if everyone else gets their kids vaccinated then everyone will be ok?
Childhood diseases kill still. Vaccinations have a reason.
Yep, I’m not too thrilled by the MMR vaccine myself and wish they would go back to the three individual injections so that my young child doesn’t have to be subjected to three all in one go. However, if you actually look at the statistics, there is no proven link between MMR and autism, just some Dr who has since been discredited for his ‘research’ that did more damage than good. He saw that the average age for diagnosing autism was after the age of the MMR vaccine, approximately and therefore linked the two. Not that diagnosing autism is actually noticeable around this age and most likely to be noticeable at this point in the child’s milestones.
Please parents, don’t start thinking that these diseases have ‘gone away’. They are laying in wait for us to become so complacent that they can re-emerge.
Vaccines have a point and a very serious one at that, they save lives not take them.
Please vaccinate your children.
